We knew we wanted to write a song for Moon Bin and this is not what we expected. 3 days ago during rehearsals we were feeling defeated and uninspired and then this riff came to me while zoning out, Niki grabbed her iPad and we recorded it into Garage Band, iPad mic and all, nothing fancy and then the magic started to happen. Within about 30 minutes we had this dreamy grungey tone, melodies, drums, and the rest of the instruments orchestrated. Again, recorded vocals right into the iPad mic, one take, as the lyrics came and we were so excited about it. We've really been leaning into this "lower quality" production, organic, raw and untouched. So for May's Bandcamp Friday, we present you with "Dandelion." For Moon Bin. For Spring. For new beginnings.
